Dangers of Global Warming
The dangers of climate change caused by global warming are disastrous. That is if the forecasts are truly representative of probable events. If things play out as some predict, the ramifications could include:
The Arctic Ocean being ice free in summer by 2050 according to a study by Cambridge University.
The extinction of wildlife will increase rapidly as environmental conditions shift to be uninhabitable for certain species.
Severe heat waves will cause deaths in highly populated areas.
Allergies and problems relating to asthma will increase.
Infectious disease, food and waterborne illness will increase.
Extreme weather events such as hurricanes will increase in intensity causing catastrophic damage.
Climate catastrophes will lead to food and water shortages, malnutrition, mass migrations and international conflict.
